Val’s BBQ is a family-owned restaurant serving delicious charcoal BBQ chicken, beef & skewers in London, ON. They reached out to us with a need to redesign their restaurant website.

The restaurant used to have a static one-page website that was just sharing restaurant info in a couple of sentences and linking to their PDF menu. Therefore, they wanted a new website that would better represent their brand with more comprehensive information on the food they serve. They also wanted to lead visitors to online ordering channels.

After discussing the pros and cons of multiple website design platforms, they decided to go ahead with Wix for the website, and we started the project.

As their advantage, a family member of the restaurant owner was a very skillful graphic designer. As a result, they could provide us with all the brand assets ready-to-use. They also had a recent professional photoshoot so that we had plenty of visual material to work with.

We designed a responsive and SEO-friendly website on Wix platform featuring introductory pages and a built-in menu using their brand colors. Moreover, we added numerous “call-to-action” buttons to lead the clients to online ordering channels. We also created buttons for third-party food delivery apps, including UberEATS, Door Dash and Skip the Dishes, to generate more customers through those apps.

With a graphic designer on their team, our client was quite specific about the design they wish to have, so we worked meticulously to cater to their preferences.

As a final addition, we placed social media buttons on the website after optimizing the settings and descriptions on their Google Business, Facebook Page, and Instagram account.

In the end, we presented a website just as our client contemplated.
