ONEXBUS Corporate Website Design

 

ONEXBUS, an intercity bus company operating in Ontario, reached out to us with a need to renew their website and branding. They needed a new corporate website design with a content management system that is well integrated with their ticketing and transport management system to better reflect their professionalism.

After multiple meetings to fully understand their needs and discussing the most feasible options, we got to work.

Project Scope

Branding Renewal

ONEXBUS management was looking to modernize and renew their brand identity. After a meeting with their management team, we determined their brand voice and tone, and presented the optimal colour palette options that can reflect their brand image.

After the basics were determined, our team started working on a new logo that will enhance the feeling of safety, customer experience and uninterrupted service. ONEXBUS management also wanted to emphasize the correct pronunciation of their brand name as “ON-EX-BUS” as an acronym for Ontario Express Bus, because it has been occasionally perceived and pronounced as “one-X-bus”. We enhanced the correct use of their name through colours and “Ontario Express Bus” tagline under the logo.

We also provided them with business cards and stationery designs for a wholesome and consistent brand identity.

Multipage Corporate Website Design

ONEXBUS used to have a PHP website that they cannot revise or change internally. They wanted to have a more dynamic corporate website design with a content management system that also provides a better user experience.

We designed their new website on WordPress using Elementor. We also enhanced the website in terms of content and dynamic elements. While designing a more functional user-friendly website, we also ensured SEO-compatibility and responsiveness. We also added a chatbot on the website to answer the frequently asked customer questions and collect call requests.

For online ticketing, we connected their current system with the website until the new ticketing system implementation is completed.

Ticketing System Optimization and Integration with Corporate Website

The management team was not fully satisfied with the functional limitations of their existing ticketing system, and they were looking for a more comprehensive solution. We helped them find a transport management system with a built-in ticketing function and many additional functions that will facilitate their operations. The new system implementation is still underway and will soon be integrated with the website to provide their passengers with the best experience possible.
