Arlene Penney, a holistic healing professional who offer holistic and embodied Trauma Informed services in St. John’s, NL. She reached out to us with a need for a one-page website for her business, The Healing Center – Transform Your Life©.

After understanding her needs and discussing the available options, we started the project.

Project Scope

Brand Colour Palette and Logo Design

We communicated with Arlene to explore her favourite colours and produce a colour palette that would be suitable for her field of work. She opted in for a bold monochrome look with a dark teal background balanced by lighter shades of teal.

While working on the colour palette, we also designed a logo for the business in line with the shapes, patterns, and the style that Arlene wishes to reflect.

One-Page Website Design

We created a mobile-friendly one-page website on WordPress. We improved the user experience with anchors so that the menu tabs can take the visitors to the relevant section of the page. We placed all her content in an organized and easily navigable manner and added a terms & policies page to clarify her booking and cancellation rules.

She was already using Square POS system to accept credit card payments. To enable online appointments, we organized her Square account with services and completed appointment settings. Then, we connected her website and social media accounts with the online appointment system for better user experience and improved lead generation.

In the end, we presented a full-scale website fitted on one page with all the functionality the business needs.
